I have been looking for a plumber. I was very happy with the person and the service. I had used E. J. Erickson for years before they went strictly commercial. The plumber was prompt, polite, knowledgable, and understood that I wanted only Chicago Faucet parts. I thought that was what I got the last time. I could tell the difference! I've never had to call for a repair so quickly. I've been in this house for 50 years and have had the same faucets all this time. I'm not looking to follow the trends; I want utility.

Hot water heater suddenly died on a Saturday morning and water was spilling out everywhere in my basement! After unsuccessfully contacting a popular franchise plumbing company, I contacted H mechanical. The front office representative (Monique) was gracious and sympathetic to my situation and was able to send over a plumber within an hour. The plumber (David) was knowledgeable, professional, thoroughly assessed my problem, and moved forward with a plan that had a new water heater delivered and installed by early evening! Great company, I can't recommend them enough!!

The repairman was on time with a face mask and practiced social distancing. I had a bad leak from a rushed rehab I purchased and the repairman quickly identified and explained the issue and provided a reasonable quote. The repairman had a clean well-equipped truck with the parts on-hand that were needed to fix the problem without a revisit and no surprise additional costs from the quote provided. I will definitely use it again.

Project: Clear a clogged or slow drain

Comments: David, the plumber, arrived within the given time. He did what was estimated to do but in a short amount of time diagnosed the real problem. After a few trips to the supply store, he had the clogged cleared, plumbing brought up to standard, and water flowing freely. Throughout, he was very communicative and efficient. Monique from the main office was timely and responsive to all my questions and concerns. They were both AMAZING!

Comments: Nevin and David were great to work with! Very responsive, polite, and courteous! I had to replace both toilets in my apartment and originally had an appointment for them to come out and install my toilets Thursday, but when the toilets arrived a week earlier than expected, the H. Comments: We've used this company twice in the past month and they are AWESOME! They installed our new toilet at the beginning of the month and when we experienced a leak in our main water valve, we called them again. My husband was so pleased with their work that they are the only plumbers we will be working with from now on. David responded quickly and during this time of Covid-19, demonstrated all safety precautions regarding masks, social distancing, etc.! Hooray!

Comments: The plumber, Nivens, showed up within the time frame I was given. Once I accepted the quote he got right to work, showed me what was clogging my tub drain and that it was now draining properly. He had been rodding so long I thought something was really wrong because usually the plumbers I've hired are in and out. He explained nothing was wrong and that he just doing a thorough job and he did a thorough job of cleaning up. I also loved that he had a mask on when he entered my home.

Comments: First contact was fairly quick after initial solicitation. Appointment was set soon after estimate. Other than being about two hours later than the agreed upon time, the work was completed without any issues. I would consider them again for future repairs.
